Perfect little breakfast spot and a lot more affordable than a breakfast at a hotel. Food was great, fresh and super nice workers. Thank you

The bellman at the Westin recommended this deli and the avocado egg sandwich and boy was he right! It was delicious! It's a small deli with seating for only 8 but wow, that sandwich was to die for.

Food was really good. I ordered steamed dumplings and they came out hot. super reasonable prices and a nice selection of drinks. I wish the dumplings came with a sauce, otherwise it's a 10/10!

What a delightful find! In town for a conference and wanted to grab a fresh lunch. This place doesn't look like much but the strawberry pecan salad and smoothie were fabulous! The salad was fresh and a wonderful blend of greens, chicken, feta, strawberries and pecans. Quick, easy and delicious!

Wow. AMAZING spot for breakfast or lunch. Amazing sandwiches and even better service. If you like putting chips in your sandwich, this is the place for you. The exotic chip selection here is impeccable. Truly one of a kind. Also the owner always greats you with a smile. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

I am a request customer of morning glory (maybe even a morning glory addict). I work in Cummins Station and go to morning glory at least twice a week. Morning Glory is a simple place with simple food and reasonable prices. They do a great job delivery high quality food the price. You can almost always get a full lunch at Morning Glory for less than 10$ Also, the owner and his family are extremely friendly and always try their best to deliver service with a smile!

My new go-to when I need a quick, fast, cheap lunch! The owners are so sweet especially the old little lady that makes my salad, she's so cute. Anyways, they have an assortment of deli favorites like wraps, salads, sandwiches. But they also have non-typical deli items like quesadilla, burgers, fries, sesame chicken. It also doubles as convenient mart if you're needing medicine, snacks, etc. The wait for food can get long during busy lunch rush hour especially with the construction workers working nearby, but for the most part they're pretty fast. You can grab a decent lunch for under $7 with a drink in under 5 mins in the Gulch! I know, thank me later.

Morning Glory never disappoints. From a hearty breakfast to an afternoon snack, you cannot beat this place! I enjoy the croissants with hash browns in the morning, and a beautifully made hotdog in the afternoons. Cannot recommend stopping by here enough!

Morning Glory Deli

Morning Glory Deli at 209 10th Ave S Ste 221 Nashville, TN 37203 is the kind of place that quietly becomes a local favorite. Whether you're in town for a weekend or live just a few blocks away, this cozy deli delivers a hearty mix of comfort food, warm smiles, and unforgettable flavors that keep folks coming back.

A cozy Nashville spot serving deli classics with heart

Walk into Morning Glory Deli, and you’re instantly met with the scent of sizzling bacon, fresh-baked bread, and hot coffee. Nestled in a laid-back corner of downtown Nashville, the deli offers a welcome escape from the bustle outside. It’s the kind of eatery where regulars are greeted by name, and newcomers are treated like old friends. The atmosphere blends modern counter service with a hint of retro charm — think checkerboard floors, wooden seating, and shelves lined with handmade condiments.

People often wander in looking for the best breakfast sandwich in Nashville, and they leave with a new morning ritual. Their menu leans into deli-style staples like the Egg & Cheese Bagel loaded with farm eggs and cheddar, or the signature Morning Glory Melt, piled high with turkey, avocado, and house-made chipotle mayo. For those in a rush, the grab-and-go section keeps things simple without sacrificing flavor — hearty wraps, fruit cups, and freshly brewed coffee are always ready to roll.

Where flavor, freshness, and friendly service come together

What makes Morning Glory Deli stand out isn’t just what’s on the plate — it’s the way they do business. Every bite feels intentional. Ingredients are sourced locally when possible, with seasonal specials rotating through the menu. One regular favorite? The Honey Ham Croissant that’s both flaky and sweet, with a tangy mustard glaze that balances it all out.

During a recent visit, we noticed how the team takes real pride in every order. A staff member behind the counter remembered a returning customer’s name and favorite drink. Another was busy explaining the difference between their house-made sauces to a curious first-timer. This kind of attention to detail turns a casual breakfast stop into a meaningful experience — and that’s exactly why the reviews here glow with praise.

We’ve spotted praise from local food bloggers, out-of-town tourists, and even office workers from the neighborhood who treat Morning Glory as their daily refueling station. The location near the Music City Center makes it a great pit stop before a busy day or after a long morning walk along the river.

More than just breakfast: a local gem for every hour

While breakfast items steal the spotlight, the deli also shines when it comes to lunch. Their Reuben on Rye brings in a lunchtime crowd with generous portions of corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, grilled to crispy perfection. The Chili Bowl — slow-cooked, meaty, and just spicy enough — pairs beautifully with a side of cornbread or chips.

Beyond sandwiches, the menu includes a handful of vegetarian-friendly items like the Garden Veggie Wrap, and they’re always willing to customize for dietary preferences. Fresh smoothies, seasonal salads, and rotating soups round out the lineup, proving that a deli can be both classic and versatile. If you're someone who likes to browse before you bite, their online menu is updated regularly, and the daily board in-store gives you a peek at what's cooking.

Morning Glory Deli brings people together through simple, honest food

It’s not just what they serve — it’s how they make people feel. In a city buzzing with new openings and flashy concepts, Morning Glory Deli keeps things grounded. They don’t chase trends. Instead, they focus on quality, consistency, and community. The small touches — handwritten thank-you notes slipped into to-go bags, a free coffee refill while you wait, or the local art on the walls — build a sense of place.

We’ve seen families stop by after church, musicians grabbing coffee before a studio session, and solo diners settling in with a breakfast sandwich and a good book. That kind of versatility is hard to manufacture — it’s built over time, with care and intention. And it’s why Morning Glory isn’t just a name, it’s a feeling.

So whether you’re craving a warm bite on a chilly morning or looking for your next go-to lunch spot, this deli at the heart of Nashville’s food scene deserves a spot on your list. The flavors are bold, the team is welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay awhile — even after the last bite.
